Reports: what you see and when

In short

• Every plan, including Start, gets a monthly report with notes from our team.

• A person on our team reviews the report before we send it.

• Conversations and questions show up in the app as they happen.

• How often our team reviews conversations depends on your plan.

• Sales impact shows up only once the keyplace pixel is live. The pixel is a small Shopify script that only counts store events.

What's in the monthly report

Before we send the report, a person on our team reviews it. In the report you see:

• how many conversations there were,

• what shoppers asked about most,

• how often keyplace didn't know the answer,

• what your product descriptions are missing,

• what our team added to Knowledge,

• product page health from Guard,

• product changes, such as a big price change or out of stock in every variant.

With low traffic, some Guard signals show up only in the report. Alerts about a broken product page come straight from keyplace, with a hint on what to check. More in Guard.

How often our team reviews conversations

The monthly report is in every plan. Plans differ in how often we review:

• Start: once a month.

• Growth: every two weeks.

• Scale: weekly review of conversations and product page health.

• Plus: everything in Scale, plus quarterly calls.

During a review, we read conversations and add knowledge. Prices and plan details are in Plans and the 30-day trial.

What you see in the app

You don't have to wait for the report. Conversations and questions show up in the app as they happen. The keyplace app is in your Shopify admin. Here's what each tab shows:

• Home: top questions and “Add to your descriptions”.

• Conversations: shopper conversations and where keyplace got an answer.

• Questions: top questions and questions without an answer.

• Analytics: daily widget opens, conversations and unanswered questions, plus the most asked-about products.

• Reports: your monthly report and notes from our team.

Questions without an answer also come to our team. We check what's missing.

Common questions

Does the report show sales?

Only when the keyplace pixel is live. The pixel counts events in your store, but only for shoppers who allow analytics. Once the pixel is live, the report shows purchases after conversations. Without the pixel, the report doesn't show sales. We don't promise a sales lift.

Where do I see the A/B test result?

In Analytics, once the pixel is live. The A/B test compares sales with and without keyplace. You turn it on in the keyplace block in your theme editor.

What do I do with gaps in my descriptions?

Add the missing details to the product in Shopify. keyplace answers only from what's in your store and from answers our team has approved. During reviews, we also add knowledge. We check new Knowledge answers before keyplace uses them.

How long can I see conversations?

We keep conversations for 30 days. More in Shopper privacy.

What happens to my reports if I pause keyplace?

Your reports and knowledge stay. You can pause keyplace with one click in Settings. If you uninstall, we delete your store data within 30 days. More in Pause or uninstall keyplace.
